March: women's health care month

On March 8th, a date that celebrates women's struggle for better living conditions,
the World Health Organization (WHO) highlights the importance of gender equality in healthcare
by promoting information campaigns on the issues throughout the month of March. Health
problems that affect women, such as inflammatory bowel disease.

According to the BJHBS magazine article “Inflammatory bowel disease
and women's sexual and reproductive health: a narrative review”, the presence of an
inflammatory bowel disease can raise doubts and concerns about the possibility of becoming
a mother, especially with regard to a woman's fertility.and the baby's well-being.
